ohmygawd. what a Qs!!! i cant deny that lee kwan yew is a genius tho, if you were to ask me about the men in white. other than that, am not too interested about politics. am more interested in social issues. for me all i know now is that, i’ll never be able to afford a house here in singapore after hearing that someone bought a bloody HfuckingDB at a mill. HDB should ALWAYS be made affordable for the locals. 1 mill is just absurd.
dreamer by heart, escapist through imaginations & realist by actions. to me, reality will always be there no matter what. if you dont find reality, reality will find you one way or another. people who claim themselves as realists.. i dont think much about them. anyway, something off topic but in topic by word.. people whom paint or sculp in the genre of hyperrealism.. i greatly admire the patience they have. when i was in school, my studio was amongst all the realism painters. ive watched every mark they made on their canvases. always completely wowed by their patienceness, calmness and gentleness they have.
haha dont do much actually! it depends on the lighting & angle tooooo! i dont polish their entire face just certain areas for highlights and all that. it depends really! they are def NOT flawless but flawless in their own ways!
you know. back then i had this one girl whom told me that i was a ryan mcginley rip off or whatever. it used to bother me forawhile but as i grew older, i realized that its no longer about ‘ripping off’ or being unique whatever. its so much about being yourself, your real self without trying to be ‘unique’. you only live once with a purpose. if you are going to spent so much time trying to be ‘unique’, life is just going to be real shit miserable. for fuck? if my work is similar to ryan mcginley or wolfgang tillmans and the whole snapshot aesthetic movement, then be it. i mean so fucking what, you know what i mean? its just like the whole idea of a come together political revolution - one similar idea with each individual story to tell. ryan mcginley and wolfgang tillmans had their own stories to tell, and so do i. i felt an urge to express and the most important thing now is that i will tell my very OWN story in my OWN ways like every other artists did. its my duty to do so. i dont believe that its hard to find a unique photographer out there, it really depends what your expectations and believes are. i strongly believe that every single one of us; different. no matter how similar we are to each other. dr susess said it well - why are we the same yet so different? :)
you shouldnt worry that you will not be able to give him your virginity. but just make sure you keep it for him, he likes virgin girls, the blood and flesh so raw and pure under the skies. tell him that he shouldnt bother about global warming but save the human race from the beautiful & disgusting 21st century first. tell him that he shouldnt forget to built noah’s ark part ii, to save us all from 2012. or maybe even earlier because i keep hearing from my mom that god is taking the world back. ALso, tell him that he is my thrilling wild pterodactyl and am thankful that he exist in my life and dreams…

hey thanks! well, i work all my photographs on aperture first, adjusting color temp, curves, blacks greys white etc and then it goes to PS next. my treatment in PS is really simple. mostly just curves. infact, its all just curves!
chocolate: hello! i am the most stupid person you’ll ever meet and very fuckyfarty too. well, stanley kubrick’s advice to all aspiring film makers: “get hold of a camera and some film and make a movie of any kind at all.” so, you’ll just have to start somewhere, anywhere, howeverywhere. there is no plan to start except that you obviously need a camera in order to start and the rest is history. people who advice you those where and how are bullshitshitshit. no one should tell you HOW WHERE WHEN you should tell your own story. if you want to photograph your own naked body, by all means if it really means something to you. record what you really believe in and what you really want to see.

i think the upfall of me is that i get inspired really easily. like real easy. i dont have to try to be inspired, it just happens. sometimes downfall as well because i can get really inspired distractedly. doesn’t help at all with my ADD & bullet train thoughts.
i think it really depends on the shoot - like what i am photographing and stuff. if i have to be really precise, then it will be detailed planning to the core. if not, there will still be basic planning but most times, its real spontaneous MAX. i like it better that way. feels so much more real, innocent & lively. sometimes, its not even a shoot, shoot but just living, chilling & doing whatever anyone is doing; can become an interesting story to tell. because of who i am and the way i work, being random & spontaneousness are now significant concepts to me.
